Emelya Shakhavat gizi Suleymanova was born on July 22, 1993 in Karabaghlar village of Sharur District  in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In 2000-2011, she received her secondary education at secondary school No. 1 named after Sabit Safarov in Karabaghlar. In 2011-2015, she did a bachelor's degree in "Elementary classroom teaching" at the Nakhchivan Teachers' Institute, and in 2015-2017, a master's degree in "Pedagogy theory and history" at Nakhchivan State University, which she graduated with distinction. Since 2017, she has been working as a bibliographer in the "Nakhchivan" University Scientific Library. She has been working as a chief librarian since October 26, 2018, as a branch manager since November 1, 2021, and as a librarian since February 1, 2023. In 2019-2023, she received a doctoral degree in "Theory and Methodology of Education" at "Nakhchivan" University. She is married and has two children.
